Description

• Take part in workplace discussions on injury, health and welfare and damage control • Assist in the preparation of incident reports and summaries • Report all the near misses • Give First aid to the Injured employee and organize to send to Hospital and monitor if any major issue report to the Section Head for further actions • Conduct daily safety walk and identify the Safety and Environmental Hazards, High light the issues and follow up on corrective actions • Ensure all PPE is ordered, in stock and issued to all staff where ever required • Ensure all staff are wearing PPE where necessary • Ensure safety signs are visible in correct areas throughout UPP • Assist in conducting any Training by Safety team • Liaise with external vendors in order to do the regular maintenance for the Firefighting / Fire Alarm systems and Chemical waste water clearance • Liaise with external people for Pest control and others • Make the necessary work permits where ever needed • Assist in the administering of safety programs • Research and conduct regular Toolbox Talks • Check and ensure that the first aid boxes are free from expired medicines and refilled as and when required throughout • Check and maintain fire extinguishers and ensure all certifications are up-to-date • Help to organize for Fire Drills and report the results • Create and submit all relevant reports • Perform other related duties as required by the line manager.
